heise online has one of the biggest accounts by a media organization on Mastodon. We have learnt quite a bit by trying different things, and now the Fediverse is bringing more traffic than most social networks. Let me give you some tips.
About Martin
Since 2012, I have written for heise online and c't, mainly about news from the ever-changing world of IT. While doing this, I have developed an interest in the social consequences of technologies like social media, the digitalization and AI. When Twitter was bought by Elon Musk, I started to build our presence on Mastodon, and I'm still managing some parts of that.
